Deal Alert: Get up to Rs 19000 off on Google Pixel XL, Pixel 2

Citibank has upped its end of the bargain here, bundling the handset with a Rs 10000 cashback so it's available at 54999.

Owning the Google Pixel 2 XL will mean that you will have more screen real estate to play around with as well as better battery life to experience, not to mention featuring the smoothest version of Google's Android OS.

This 20 percent discount would translate to a price tag of roughly $520 for the Google Pixel 2 with 64 GB of native storage space, and $680 for the Pixel 2 XL with 64 GB of storage. On top of that, it is also offering a cashback of Rs 8,000 for transactions via Citibank cards - effectively bringing down the price of the smartphone to an alluring 41,999 rupees.

Google's Pixel 2 pair recently got hefty price cuts and the search giant is now making its phones even more affordable with a new Citibank deal which can wipe off up to Rs 10000 from the cost of the handsets. The e-tailer Flipkart is giving an exchange offer of Rs 18,001 on the smartphone.

Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL users have lot more reasons to be anxious about their smartphones.

Google reportedly shipped 3.9 million Pixel and Pixel 2 smartphones in 2017, according to IDC research director Francisco Jeronimo. It comes loaded with a new Always-on Display and is protected with 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The Google Pixel 2 XL sports a 12.2-megapixel rear camera with 1.4-micron pixel size sensor, aperture f/1.8, optical image stabilisation, electronic image stabilization, dual pixel phase detection + autofocus with laser and 4K video recording. On the other hand, the LG-made Google Pixel 2 XL comes with a similar set of specifications. It is backed by a 3520mAh battery and it promises to offer 7 hours battery backup in 15 minutes of charging.
