Aniston and Theroux met 'one last time' on Valentine's Day

Angelina Jolie 'Not Surprised' By Jennifer Aniston's Split: Why She Feels 'Vindicated'

Aniston and Theroux met 'one last time' on Valentine's Day

In the months before her separation from Justin Theroux, Jennifer Aniston reportedly found comfort from an unlikely source - her ex, Brad Pitt!

The couple announced their split this week, following increased speculation about the state of their marriage.

"They saw each other late at night on Valentine s Day in L A. They decided together that they would make the announcement the next day". "With Jen feeling so strongly about living in L.A. and disliking N.Y.C.so much, she wanted Justin to be happy and that's why she agreed that he should spend so much time in N.Y.C.", says the insider.

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux were doomed from the start.

The former Friends star even disliked living in NY, where Theroux lived, and Aniston also felt very strongly about living in L.A.

"Constant scrutiny of Jen's personal life, including whether she would ever find her happily ever after, played a huge role in her marriage to Justin", the source adds.

It appears that Theroux wanted to stay away from the spotlight for a while following his split from Aniston. "In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have chose to announce our separation", the former couple told Us in a joint statement on Thursday, February 15.

As we reported, the duo revealed in a statement post V-Day that they had separated mutually at "the end of previous year".

The couple, who got engaged in 2012, announced their separation last Thursday.

But apparently, Theroux and Aniston are no longer together.

"They haven't seen each other in ages", a source told People. "It seems they will continue to be friends".

The world is still reeling from news that Jennifer Aniston has split with husband of two years, Justin Theroux, but some are hoping for a "Bennifer" reunion.

It's been speculated that they've been living apart for quite some time, with the 46-year-old filmmaker preferring to reside in New York City, while 49-year-old Aniston is more comfortable in Los Angeles.

Also, the Friends star's body language with her "husband" looked cold in their last photos together, a body language expert said. "It's an eclectic group and he doesn't have that type of network in L.A".

Even things between her and Theroux aren't really that bad, all things considered.

After spending the big day with friends, Aniston was reportedly in attendance at Amy Schumer's surprise wedding to chef Chris Fischer in Malibu on Tuesday. It would be very hard for Justin to contest it.
