Almost three months since its announcement at Blizzcon 2017, World of Warcraft's latest expansion, Battle for Azeroth, is now up for preorder. There's also two versions of the expansion competing for your cash: The Digital Deluxe Edition and the Standard Edition, which retail for £52.99 and £39.99, respectively.
That 110 boost is probably the most enticing of all the bonuses, though, as it can be saved and used to instantly boost one of the new Allied Races in the game when Battle for Azeroth launches.
A posting on the Battle.net Shop reveals that Battle for Azeroth will be available "on or before September 21, 2018". Horde players can unlock the Highmountain Tauren and Nightborne Elves, while the Alliance gains access to Lightforged Draenei and Void Elves.
Not only that, but if you do plonk your cash down early for Battle for Azeroth you'll be able to grab a level-110 boost for a single character, allowing you to hop right into the action.
The four Allied Races you can unlock. Once you have completed a few Alliance quests and earned yourself the respect of an Allied Race, you will unlock the ability to use that race in character creation. Everyone can enjoy the adorable baby Tortollan pet.
Blizzard has also announced that there are two different editions of the expansion. There will also be new game modes which involve exploring uncharted isles of Azeroth to collect resources against enemy players, and a 20-player, RTS-Warcraft-inspired cooperative mode that will have players battle for strategic locations against enemy forces. And finally, the Overwatch bonuses are Horde- and Alliance-themed voice lines for Torbjorn, along with emotes for Tracer.
