Donald Glover has confirmed that he will still retire Childish Gambino following the conclusion of his next music project.

The multi-talented performer took home the prize for best traditional R&B performance for his song Redbone at the 60th annual Grammy Awards in NY on Sunday night (28Jan18).

The Sunday's award show performance marks the first for Glover since his set at the Governor's Ball.

Backstage after the broadcast, he said, "I'm really appreciative of this [Grammy] and.I'm making another project right now.but I like endings". "But I like endings, I think they're important to progress". The album received two Grammy Award nominations, including Album of the Year and features the breakout track "RedBone", which garnered three nominations for Record of the Year, Best R&B Song, and Best Traditional R&B performance.

As previously reported, Glover hinted about his retirement from music during his performance at the Governors Ball music festival in NY. I think if a lot of things had death clauses in them, we wouldn't have a lot of problems in the world, to be honest.

Though I can't say much about McCrary, Glover is proving to be one unbelievable artist.

The singer and actor, who will star in the upcoming live action Lion King movie as adult Simba, welcomed JD McCrary, the young Simba, on stage with him.
