PyeongChang 2018, to run from February 9 to 25, will be the largest Winter Olympics in history, with 2,925 athletes from 92 nations set to participate in 15 sports.

Only three nations had at least 169 athletes at the 2014 Sochi Olympics, the United States, Canada, and Russian Federation, which as the host nation in 2014 had 232 athletes competing.

A team of 169 athletes would have been the fourth largest delegation in Sochi, trailing only Canada, the United States and Russian Federation. Eve Muirhead, in her third Games, leads a women's curling team that won last year's European Championships.

Gasser will be looking to rebound from disappointment in Sochi four years ago when she fell twice in the slopestyle final, having qualified in first.

PyeongChang officials said six nations will make their first Winter Games appearances: Malaysia, Singapore, Ecuador, Eritrea, Kosovo and Nigeria.

"You can never predict how the results will fall but I am certain we're going to South Korea with opportunities to deliver more world-class performances than a British ski and snowboard team ever have at an Olympic Games".

Samsung describes its Olympics offering as an all-in-one app, one that aids fans in enjoying the Games via a bunch of different features. Canada, another winter sports power, will have about 230 athletes here.

"I'm really excited to be at the X Games".

Big air snowboarding has also been added to the agenda for this year's Olympics in Pyeongchang, giving snowboarders such as Anderson more chances to win medals.

Russia, who hosted the Winter Olympics in Sochi in 2014, has officially been banned from the Olympics after following a scandal involving a state-sponsored doping effort.

The group will travel to Korea next month and will familiarise themselves with the Games environment in Alpensia before taking in some action across the following five days, which will include medal ceremonies and visits to the two Olympic Villages.

The Team GB line-up was completed on Thursday following the selection of 25 skiers and snowboarders, which takes the total of men to 34 and women to 25.
