Vehicle goes airborne, crashes into second floor of Santa Ana dentist's office

The auto then launched into the air and ended up wedged in the second floor of a dental office.

Officials say a small fire injured one person who managed to get out of the vehicle unassisted.

The white sedan was speeding when it hit the center median on French Street near 17th Street, causing the auto to fly into the air and into the second story of a nearby dental office, according to a Santa Ana Police Department Nixle notification.

The Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) said the driver hit a center divider, catapulting the vehicle into the air.

Police in Santa Ana, California say that the vehicle was traveling at a "high rate of speed" when it struck the median, which then launched the auto into the dental office. The vehicle hit the center divider and went airborne and landed into the building.

Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) posted images of the unbelievable scene online, revealing a white sedan firmly stuck in the building.

Two people sustained minor injuries.
