Steph Curry Slipped At Practice And Is OUT Tonight, Friday's Game Uncertain

Warriors' Stephen Curry out against Clippers due to sprained ankle

Golden State Warriors guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson will miss tonight's game against the LA Clippers, the team announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Curry has been spectacular in the five games he's played in since returning from the 11-game absence. He averaged a scorching 35.2 points per game in five games after returning on December 30, shooting 53.2 percent on more than a dozen 3-point attempts per game.

Curry sprained his right ankle, according to the Warriors.

This is the same ankle that Curry sprained earlier in the season. He's averaged 35.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists on and made 33 of 62 three-pointers across the five games, all of which the Warriors won by double digits. Kevin Durant (right calf strain), Draymond Green (right knee soreness) and Andre Iguodala (left knee and hip soreness) are available to play. There is no word yet on how many games he will miss due to this latest setback.

Thompson was Golden State's only player this season to appear in all 41 games.
