The "Moneyball" actor had bid for the episode viewing with the show's star during a silent auction at Sean Penn's annual gala for Haiti, at Milk Studios in Los Angeles, California, on January 6 but ultimately lost out to a higher offer. The bid started at USD20,000 (RM79,750) and Pitt's fanboy instincts led him straight in with a USD80,000 (RM319,000) offer and then increased his bid to USD90,000 (RM358,875).

But Pitt was outbid on the lot at Penn's J/P Haitian Relief Organization gala, where the screening with Clarke went for $160,000.

The Game of Thrones cast brought the heat at the 2018 Golden Globes. He did win an National Basketball Association weekend experience with San Antonio Spurs, which not only includes tickets to an National Basketball Association game but also a ride on the team's plane in addition to VIP seats at the team's practice sessions and game in Texas.

The event raised money for the J/P HRO & Disaster Relief Organizations and raised more than $3 million by the end of the night. The organisation founded by Sean Penn was established to help relief efforts after the devastating quake in Haiti in 2010. Hollywood stars are also feverishly awaiting and anticipating who will take the throne and rule the Seven Kingdoms. Other times up for bid included a painting by abstract artist Josh Smith, which ended up being won by both Leonardo DiCaprio and Emilia Clarke. Clarke had her eye on the same piece and ultimately outbid the Oscar victor before the artist who made the painting revealed two copies were available.

Madonna once dressed as Clarke's now-iconic character, Daenerys Targaryen (complete with her own little dragons), at a festival in 2014.
