The late Carrie Fisher appears in a role much bigger than many might expect since her untimely demise. More specifically, the film is dedicated to her. She makes her final appearance as Leia in "The Last Jedi".

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Johnson opened up about Fisher's "beautiful" portrayal of the quick and clever Leia, explaining that he didn't actually change anything about her narrative.
