Do you stream music online? In the year 2011, Google has released Google Play Music app with free and subscription options.
Well, according to a report, Google is now planning to launch yet another paid music streaming service in a bid to rival Apple Music and Spotify. If you love to have such a platform from where you can explore all the videos of your favourite artists and other music, YouTube is launching its Music Service platform very soon. Now, the giant is going to combine all these platforms with just one single platform for the music lovers. Google also got on to this bandwagon of music streaming services with Play Music, however, it hasn't been able to catch up with other services as much as Google would have liked. If yes, which service do you prefer, and why? Once they fully satisfied with the UI of this service, they can go ahead and subscribe the appropriate plan.
Amazon Music Unlimited is a separate service that offers a wider selection than Prime Music.
According to an article by Bloomberg, music executives have been disappointed with meager revenue from YouTube Red. Warner Music Group, one of the world's three major record labels, has already signed on, said the people, who asked not to be identified discussing private talks.
In addition to Amazon Music Unlimited, the Amazon Echo is coming to the listed countries as well, which will provide support for voice commands such as "Alexa, play rock music".
That said, the two companies are also dependent upon each other.
The release of Remix wasn't such a big surprise, as many rumors were already circulating about it. Amazon is a pioneer in cloud services via Amazon Web Services, while Google too has made inroads in cloud computing by leveraging its knowledge in AI (artificial intelligence) and machine learning.
