The president was spotted playing a round of golf with 18-time major champion Jack Nicklaus and Nicklaus's son Gerry, the Associated Press reported. Trump also golfed in Florida with Woods last December.

The New York Post reported after a six-hour visit, Trump had left the golf club at 1:52 p.m. At this time of his presidency, George W. Bush had played golf seven times, according to CNN.

The Republican president stopped playing golf in 2003 after he came under fire on how he was spending his leisure time during the Iraq War.

Many Americans - and more than a few presidents - play golf. The billionaire businessman had blasted the former president on how he wasted time, golfing instead of finding solutions to the dogged problems of the United States.

"I would rarely leave the White House because there's so much work to be done", Trump told The Hill in 2015. But because I'm going to be working for you, I'm not going to have time to go golfing, believe me.
