Wide receiver Michael Crabtree, guard Gabe Jackson and Denver cornerback Aqib Talib were ejected during a first-quarter brawl Sunday between the Raiders and Broncos at the Coliseum. Talib and Crabtree have a history with each other stemming from when Talib ripped Crabtree's chain off.
Previous year the two players got into a heated confrontation, causing Talib to snatch Crabtree's chain off his neck during a game.
Lynch, who made contact with an official, ended being suspended for a subsequent game.
If Crabtree was looking for revenge against Talib, it was his first opportunity.
Crabtree was also ejected and received the same penalty. Crabtree said. "I could have cut (block) him".
"Snatching chains on the field, like what you accomplish?"
At that time, Talib was pretty simple in his explanation for why he did it, too. "You see the dude and what he's doing in front of me".
The Broncos and Raiders played earlier this year as Denver beat Oakland, 16-10, in Week 4. But to be fair, the Broncos have struggled mightily as of late.
