Police say that vehicles parked along the parade route will be relocated to neighbouring streets starting at 6 a.m. on Sunday.

On the rest of the Chippewa Falls holiday calendar, Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit BMO Harris Bank, 411 N. Bridge Street, on November 24 at 10 a.m. Bring your letters for Santa; they will be collected along the parade route.

If you are one of the 30,000-plus who plan on attending the annual Greater Sudbury Santa Claus Parade in the downtown core Saturday night, there are two big changes to this year's event. It got underway at 12:30 Mayor John Tory and the crowd at the start shouted "Ho Ho Ho!" It ends at the intersection of Front and Jarvis Streets at the St. Lawrence Market.

Paris: The parade happens December 2 at 6 p.m. downtown, beginning on William Street.

The parade starts on 3 Avenue South at 19 Street East. The run itself got underway at 11:45 a.m. followed, nearly immediately, by the parade.

Smithville: The 27th annual parade happens November 25 at 2 p.m. with a North Pole theme.

Pelham: The 20th annual parade happens December 9 at 1 p.m. Fenwick Lions continue the celebration after the parade with plenty of free activities, food and refreshments.

Avenue Road/Queen's Park, from Davenport Road to College Street, at 10:45 a.m.
