Reputation was released on Friday, November 10, through Big Machine Records.

Reputation, which is the 27-year-old Swift's sixth studio album, is also her fourth to sell a million copies in a week.

"I'm freaking out. [I've] listened to Taylor Swift since second grade", one fan said, relaying the message to her friend over the phone. It's the first album to sell a million copies in a tracking week in almost two years, since Adele's 25 sold 1.16 million copies in the frame ending December 25, 2015 (the album's fifth week on sale).

Swift's 1.05 million U.S. sales of "Reputation" came despite the singer keeping the album from streaming services and gave her the best-selling album of 2017.
