Improving on its predecessor, Injustice: Gods Among Us, Injustice 2 has always put a big emphasis on the diversity of its roster as it steadily continues to expand.
The announcement trailer was revealed at Eleague's Injustice 2 World Championships where Ryan "Dragon" Walker took home the trophy and $150,000 (£114k).
The Atom and Enchantress will also be featured in the character pack.
The Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition and the Ultimate Pack feature a grand total of nine additional playable characters, along with three Premiere Skins that can change select fighters into alternate characters with new skins, voices and dialogue lines. Donatello, Michaelangelo, Raphael, and Leonardo are all going to be added to Injustice 2, but they'll all be controlled as if they were one fighter.
Those looking forward to more DC characters might be a bit disappointed with this news, but how can you not like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, right? Atom will make his debut on December 12th as part of an early access test, followed by the full release of Injustice 2 on PC starting Novmeber 14th. No word that I can find so far regarding the release date for the Turtles. A few people had to remind gamers that Beast Boy apparently died in the Injustice 2 timeline, but that still doesn't rule out Spawn or Rorschach. The Atom is familiar to non-comic fans since he has made appearances on Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
