New Far Cry 5 Trailer Shares More on Co-op Play

New Far Cry 5 Trailer From Paris Games Week Shows Off Co-op Action

PGW 2017 – Far Cry 5 Gets a Dedicated Co-Op Trailer, Looks Fun as Hell

It's super tricky because, obviously, it's got to be fun, it's got to be dynamic, it's got to give you an opportunity to play with a friend, but at the same time we want to be able to tell a story.

Sony has unveiled a new trailer for Far Cry 5 at Paris Games Week, which highlights the co-op play for the story mode.

Co-Op play has been available in the past three Far Cry games, though until now the co-op play has been somewhat lackluster.

A hilarious new Far Cry 5 trailer showed off a different look at the highly anticipated new chapter to the franchise. At the end of the trailer, we get some shots showing real gameplay of what you can actually expect in the game. In Far Cry 3, for example, the co-op mode had its own, original plot. Your Friend for Hire appears as a custom player character and can fight alongside you throughout the game, dropping in and out with full voice-chat support.

You can give each other ammo and health packs, with both players getting to keep the XP, loot, and player progression during the season.

Far Cry 5 will be available February 27, 2018 on PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, Xbox One X, Xbox One S, and Windows PC.

Ubisoft unveiled Far Cry 5 earlier this year, bringing players back from the usual exotic regions to the United States, putting them up against a doomsday cult.

"All earned experience and inventory items, excluding quest-based items, will carry over following each co-op session".
