Jeremy Lin Leaves Court In Tears After Suffering Knee Injury

Report: 'Tremendous Concern' Over Jeremy Lin Knee Injury

Nets' Jeremy Lin suffers knee injury: 'I'm done man, I'm done'

The Brooklyn Nets are mired in a nightmare to start their 2017-18 season after announcing that their starting point guard Jeremy Lin is out for the season, having sustained a ruptured patella tendon during Wednesday's season-opener against the Indiana Pacers.

ESPN reported there is tremendous concern over his knee in the organization.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Lin will be evaluated in NY on Thursday, and there is "tremendous concern" about the injury.

The 29-year-old is in his second year with the Nets after signing a three-year contract last offseason.

"Definitely tough", power forward Trevor Booker said.

Darren Collison is looking like a totally new player, is this what we're going to see from him every night? He eluded them, elevated for the shot and drew a goaltending call on IN big man Myles Turner.

In 2016-17, Lin averaged 14.5 points, 5.1 assists and 3.8 rebounds per game, but he was limited to just 36 contests due to injury.

After a momentary hesitation, seemingly in shock, he turned and called to the Nets bench in clear pain. The serious nature of the injury was immediately apparent when he yelled out "I'm done", laid on the floor and burst into tears.
