Oklahoma's football team leads Iowa State 14-3 after the first quarter at Owen Field in Norman on Saturday.

Kickoff for the Iowa State-Oklahoma game is set for 11 a.m. CT. Yesterday, the team announced that he has taken a leave of absence. Iowa State coach Matt Campbell said in a statement that he is not sure when Park will return, and he can not discuss specifics.

"Jacob is a great young man dealing with some personal medical concerns", Campbell said (via ESPN). He is averaging 295.2 yards passing (15th in NCAA) and 25 completions per game (12th).

So far this season, he is 100-for-162 1,181 yards, nine touchdowns, and five interceptions.

ABOUT IOWA STATE (2-2, 0-1 Big 12): The Cyclones come in off a 17-7 home loss to Texas last Thursday night, a game in which they managed just 10 rushing yards and 256 total yards. Between privacy concerns and laws, it wouldn't really make sense for Campbell to say anything about the player - even if it wasn't a big deal. I know how important the football team is to Jacob and how important Jacob is to the football team. "But supporting one another in hard times is where we need to be".

The biggest upset of the college football has season has just taken place.

Redshirt freshman Zeb Noland is listed as the second quarterback behind Park on Iowa State's depth chart.

Lanning started the game at middle linebacker, then entered at quarterback with about four minutes left in the first quarter.
