In addition, the company has received 11 reports of pieces of the detached plastic ending up in children's mouths, including four choking incidents.

- More than 3.5 million plate and bowl sets for children are being recalled after 372 defects that could cause choking have been reported.

The recall includes Playtex Plates and Bowls with printed designs sold separately and in sets, including the Playtex DC Super Friends Bowls 3pk, Playtex DC Super Friends Plates 2pk and Playtex DC Super Friends Mealtime Set.

Millions of Playtex children's cups and plates have been recalled because pieces of plastic have peeled off and could choke kids, officials said.

The CPSC reports a clear plastic layer over the illustrations can bubble or peel.

Consumers should stop using the plates and bowls immediately and contact Playtex for instructions on how to return the product a full refund.

There are so many baby product recalls that sometimes it can be hard to keep up. They're white plates and bowls with colorful rims, nonstick bottoms, and a cartoon design on them.

Playtex announced the recall on its website, and it looks like all plates and bowls with printed graphics on them are affected by the recall.
