The kind-hearted friend who gave a kidney to Selena Gomez revealed her scars from the operation for the time in a new Instagram post.

The 29-year-old actress was seen pumping some serious iron in a new video posted to Instagram recently, which she captioned "Happy to be back".

Selena Gomez' kidney transplant may save many more lives than her own.

The Hands to Myself artist included a shot of herself and Raisa holding hands in adjacent hospital beds amid the surgery to combat Selena's battle with Lupus, which she first publicly spoke of in 2015. The actress took to Instagram on Thursday, September 21 to share a video of herself lifting weights. "There aren't words to describe how I can possibly thank my attractive friend Francia Raisa", the Disney alum said in a lengthy post about her surgical journey.

Selena Gomez has since posted a thank you to her friend online, which shows the pair recovering after the surgery. I am incredibly blessed.

"I am beyond grateful that God would trust me with something that not only saved a life, but changed mine in the process", she wrote.

The Bad Liar beauty, 25, wore a khaki trench coat over a white T-shirt and blue jeans with white shoes, with her dark locks partially pulled back, looking nice as she regains her health after undergoing a kidney transplant this past summer. I love you so much, sis'.

"The love between them has really grown", she told the Spanish-language outlet. "I'm very proud of both of them", Almendarez said. Teefey described feeling powerless over her daughter's medical condition and switching into "Mama Bear" mode while Gomez awaited surgery.
