Sam Bradford's Knee Injury Is Starting To Seem Serious

According to a source, Bradford's knee didn't respond well during practice this week. He took limited turns last week, because of soreness and swelling. Head coach Mike Zimmer said Bradford is feeling better, which could mean he might play or could mean they have just kept him wrapped in foam packing and the moment he gets out of it and a butterfly lands on him, something else will break.

ESPN reported that Bradford, who was hurt in the September 11 opener against New Orleans, on will visit James Andrews, a renowned orthopedic surgeon who previously has operated on his left knee, on Friday to get a second opinion on pain in the knee.

Ben Goessling reported Wednesday that we "might not have a clear answer until the end of the week - or perhaps even game day - about whether [Bradford's] able to start".

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford is listed as questionable with a knee injury, but is expected to play. Howard was one of the cleanest players in the draft due to his production and character and was projected to be gone with the first 10-15 picks. Coleman was one of the team's final cuts this month.

Bradford tore the ACL in his left knee twice during the 2013 and 2014 seasons while playing for the St. Louis Rams. Can Jared Goff continue to develop under Sean McVay?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have one of the greatest collections of offensive talent in the NFL.

While the throws looked okay it's obvious that Bradford wasn't really stepping into them, which would be a huge issue in a game-time situation.

Sam Bradford lit up the New Orleans Saints defense in week 1.

The Vikings waived Tocho on September 2. Pittsburgh has allowed just 474 net yards through two games, an impressive start for a group that finished a pedestrian 12th in the league in 2016.

Bradford led the Vikings to their first win of the season while showing no discomfort in the knee that has forced him out for two straight weeks.

Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Corey Davis has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks because of a hamstring injury, the team announced. He said a scan of his injury proved the injury is minor and can not be injured further. Luckily, ESPN had camera's rolling during the press portion of practice yesterday and caught Bradford making some passes.

Hairston and coach Anthony Lynn declined to discuss the specifics of the illness, but in a tweet early Tuesday morning, Hairston quoted lyrics from a Kanye West song that reference blood clots.

The Detroit Lions have signed defensive end George Johnson and released defensive end Alex Barrett. Tampa Bay held the Bears to just 20 rushing yards on 17 carries with defensive tackle Gerald McCoy and linebacker Lavonte David routinely blowing up well-crafted blocking schemes.
