Montia Sabbag says she had nothing to do with the video recordings of her and Hart.
Days after the comedian's rep released a statement to ET alleging that "someone tried to set Kevin up in a failed extortion attempt", Montia Sabbag held a press conference with her attorney, Lisa Bloom, denying that she attempted to extort Hart.
Kevin Hart's ex-wife Torrei Hart claims "lies and infidelity" ended her marriage to the comedian. "She's not demanding any money".
Neither party said who they believe may have filmed Hart and Sabbag's tryst, but Bloom made it clear that she and the actress will be working with authorities. The gossip site goes on to reveal that she met up with Kevin Hart for a steamy weekend in August. The attorney said someone apparently snuck cameras into Hart's private hotel suite in Las Vegas and recorded bedroom images of the two of them.
When asked if Hart had reached out to her client, Bloom told reporters "not recently", but that there "have been discussions in the past". "I had nothing to do with these recordings", Sabbag said.
Kevin Hart pursued an "intimate" relationship with his alleged extortionist, RadarOnline.com has learned. We are not making any false claims against him.
Earlier this summer, a video emerged of Hart looking cozy with a brunette in the back of a vehicle, but he laughed off any suggestions of infidelity in an Instagram post.
Hart continued, "I made a bad error in judgment and I put myself in a bad environment where only bad things can happen and they did".
As previously noted by CrimeOnline, Hart admitted in an Instagram post that he would rather fess up to his mistakes before allowing someone to profit off of his bad judgement.
The publication reports that the Federal Bureau of Investigation is now investigating the situation.
The lawyer announced that a press conference would take place Wednesday, where Sabbag and Bloom would address the accusations and their next steps.
