New Hampshire's Dartmouth-Hitchcock hospital was locked down on Tuesday following reports of an active shooter at the medical facility, a spokesman said in an emailed message.
"Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon is now locked down following reports of an active shooter in the hospital", the facility said in a statement Tuesday afternoon.

Multiple New Hampshire State Police cruisers rushed to the area, where they were assisting with response and investigation, NBC5 reported. A code silver is a active shooter.
Hospital officials sent a statement to Local 22 & Local 44 saying the campus is on lockdown and a shelter in place order has been issued.
Police in the town of Lebanon confirmed that one suspect was arrested shortly before 3 p.m., 90 minutes after the initial alert. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
