On August 09, three indentified militants were killed in an encounter between militants and the state government forces in Gulabbag area of Tral in district Pulwama.
A spokesperson of the conglomerate in a statement paid rich tributes to slain youth and three militants killed in an encounter at Gulab Bagh, Tral.
Speaking to ANI, Kashmir Inspector General of Police Munir Khan said all the three are local militants, two of them had joined militancy in 2015 and one in 2016.
He said the trio on way got killed in an encounter with forces.
The fire was returned by the troops and in the ensuing gunfight, three militants were killed, the official said.
According to reports, security forces took charge after receiving information about the presence of some militants in Gulabagh village of Tral.
The slain militants were identified as Zahid Ahmad Bhat, Mohammad Ishaq Bhat and Mohammad Ashraf Dar.
Two AK 47 rifles and one pistol were seized from the encounter site.
