The massive four-show crossover between "Arrow", "The Flash", "Supergirl" and "Legends of Tomorrow" has a date set in November... Thus, with time quickly creeping up for another sublime small screen superhero association that will, again, team the heroes of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and Legends Of Tomorrow, the network has unveiled the details for their 2017 crossover event. Legends of Tomorrow moves to Tuesdays this Fall, airing right after The Flash on October 10. During his talk, he also mentioned that the Arrowverse crossover past year was the most successful based on ratings and other metrics in the CW history.
"Last year's crossover was our most successful week I believe in CW's history", The CW's president Mark Pedowitz said.
"We felt in this particular case we had "Flash" and "Legends" paired".
About the two night schedule, Pedowitz went on to say it's a "Tight, concise way of doing it". "We thought this was the best way to go".
The good news is that we already know that the crossover will actually be all four episodes. "They're all big episodic productions but this one will be even bigger". The superhero crossover episodes led to The CW having the highest-rated week ever. On Monday, Nov. 27, "Supergirl" will kick off the crossover at 8 p.m. EDT and lead into the "Arrow" portion of the event at 9 p.m. EDT. However, it's unlikely that Black Lightning would join in on the crossover fun as the network is keeping the projects separate - for now. And while each of these shows deserves attention in their own right, it's the very special crossover event that has the headlines for the moment. While he didn't drop any hints about how exactly the writers were planning to top the "Invasion!" storyline, which featured numerous heroes being abducted by aliens, he simply teased, "Romance is in the air". "I'm really happy with where they're heading, and they've got a great showrunning staff". On Thursday, October 12 at 9 pm Arrow will premiere to round out the DC roster.
