IIFA 2017: 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' film wins big in music category

Katrina Kaif gave away the award to Shahid, while Varun Dhawan announced Alia as the Best Actor - Female at the event, held at the Metlife Stadium here. In which "Neerja" named the best picture and received the award of the 2017 International Indian Film Academy (IIFA).

The actors were given away the prestigious IIFA Awards for their brilliant performance in "Udta Punjab". She played the role of a Bihari migrant girl in the movie.

The music category of the award show was dominated by Ae Dil Hai Mushkil with Pritam, Amitabh Bhattacharya and Amit Mishra winning awards. In a special category, Taapsee Pannu won the Woman of the Year award for Pink.

Raabta actors Sushant and Kriti performed on retro tracks, while Varun paid a tribute to his father David Dhawan by grooving to his chartbusters.
