Conte wants Lukaku swoop

Chelsea could miss out on Everton forward Romelu Lukaku this summer with the striker's entourage said to "favour" a move to Manchester United.

Miffed by his boss' message, according to The Mirror Costa is now aiming to make life as hard as possible for Chelsea and Conte as "revenge" for the text and the way he's been treated, and will only leave London for a return to his former club, Atletico Madrid, despite being close to a HUGE money move to China earlier in the year.

Jose Mourinho, who was in charge of Chelsea when Lukaku left Stamford Bridge for Goodison Park, is believed to be keen on taking the striker to Old Trafford as United actively seek a replacement for Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who was freed by Mourinho's men last month. Askam posted his views on social media site Twitter to share the information.

"I know what's happening, but I can't tell you anything more".

Lukaku is now on holiday with United ace Paul Pogba and is said to be open to working with Jose Mourinho again. The 24-year-old has been in top form over the past few seasons, and he wants a move to a top club where he can continue to be the focal point.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are waiting on the future of Diego Costa, who is expected to go back to Atletico Madrid.

This gives Arsenal and Wenger a huge boost to the chances of completing on Lacazette who will not be aware that his move to Madrid is not happening.

With both clubs in an interesting scenario, fans will have to wait for a while to get a clear picture as to where the Belgian star striker will eventually end up.
