Bring on 2018 because Cher will be turning back time (sorry, we couldn't resist) to showcase her entire life in a musical on Broadway.
The singer ("Believe", "Strong Enough") confirmed the musical's 2018 Broadway release via Twitter Tuesday night. Cher dropped out of school at 16-years-old to pursue her musical career, and, as they say, the rest is history.
The show will be directed by Jason Moore, who previously controlled the stage musical "Avenue Q" as well as the popular a cappella film "Pitch Perfect", while 'Hamilton's Jeffrey Seller and Flody Suarez are on board to produce. Jersey Boys' Rick Elice is writer.

As well as enjoying hits such as I Got You Babe and If I Could Turn Back Time, the California-born star is also known for her skills on the screen, with acting and cameo roles across a range of films and U.S. television shows. Aside from the center-stage star, appearances by other characters, including Sonny Bono, David Geffen, Bob Mackie, Robert Altman and Sigmund Freud seem inevitable.
However, it wasn't until she released hits "I Got You Babe, ' 'The Beat Goes On, ' and 'All I Ever Need Is You" with her husband Sonny Bono that she launched her career.
