Simone Biles booted off "Dancing with the Stars"

EXCLUSIVE: Val Chmerkovskiy Dishes on Normani Kordei's Emotional 'DWTS' Semifinals Performance

EXCLUSIVE: Normani Kordei Responds to Bonner Bolton's Date Invitation, Teases 'DWTS' Finale Routine

In the final moments of the night, it was revealed that they had been eliminated and missed the finals by one spot. First, both Normani Kordei and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater were deemed safe. Carrie Ann Inaba said it was his best dance yet and complimented him for being the "most awesome base" of his team.

The latest Dancing With the Stars elimination was so shocking that even the judges were upset. "After Heather [Morris] and Nancy [Kerrigan's] departures, it was nearly certain that Simone would make the final considering her place in the final four".

Biles and her partner, Sasha Farber, shared a group hug with her fellow competitors in the middle of the dance floor as the show came to a close.

For their efforts, Biles and Farber earned 40 out of 40, marking their first flawless score of the season. They'll be performing a Foxtrot to "You Make Me Feel So Young" by Michael Bublé.

The judges all rose with their hands over the mouths, and co-host Erin Andrews said, "I am in absolute shock", when the name was read out ... "Take a minute and listen to the audience (applauding)". Her simple reply that "smiling doesn't win gold medals" was the zinger heard 'round the world, and Bergeron later apologized for his sexist remark. "You can have all of the time".

Simone and Sasha followed it up with an emotional Rumba.

Biles went on to further discuss her reaction to the judge's comments with Entertainment Tonight, saying: "I had tears in my eyes..."

While Kordei holds up the "I Have Never" side of her paddle, Biles clearly suggests otherwise as she tries to get the truth out there. "My only little girl, now she's my big girl... baby, I'm so proud of you". They had the whole ballroom jumping with the music and choreography in a New Orleans setting.

Normani Kordei and Valentin Chmerkovskiy kicked off the first round, which was the Judges Challenge Dances. Bruno said Rashad's "exceeding all expectations". Score: three 10s and a 9 from Len for 39 out of 40. Goodman stood up and applauded her while Bruno Tonioli called her a diva and a star.

Carrie Ann shows up to Simone's performance to help her dial in to being "fun".
