Jessica Andrade has the chance to become the best strawweight fighter in the world Saturday night in Dallas, as she takes on UFC champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk in the co-main event of UFC 211, but that wasn't her first sports goal growing up.

From her footwork to her preparation, Jedrzejczyk has evolved into the most well-rounded fighter among UFC females, with her inability to finish a recent four-pack of determined opponents the only drawback to nitpick.

From that point on, it was one-way traffic. The 225 significant strikes Jedrzejczyk put on Andrade were a career-high, besting her previous mark of 220 set in November 2015.

In the end, Joanna was handed the unanimous decision victory with the judges scoring the contest 50-45, 50-44, 50-54 in her favour.

As the championship rounds went on, Jedrzejczyk continued to show why she's one of the most technical strikers in all of MMA. When that didn't work either, thanks to Jedrzejczyk's superb takedown defense, the challenger looked dispirited, and out of ideas. "I don't care who's my next opponent, I will put on great work and defend this title for a sixth time".

"I think it should be the good move because somebody goes from 135 pounds will drop to 125 pounds and some girls who are having troubles with making 115 pounds, they will go up", Jedrzejczyk said. Going forward, I want to help my team and academy. So definitely, if I will get this opportunity to fight for my second belt, I will do that. I want to buy a home for my mother.

Miocic looks like enough of a sure thing that setting a new watermark for title defenses appears very much in play. It nearly didn't matter that Andrade was coming forward the whole time because Jedrzejczyk's footwork was so good that she could time her strikes at the exact moment necessary, all while evading most damage. In the scramble to get back to her feet, Jedrzejczyk connected with a nice short elbow as the round came to a close.

The fourth round was very much more of the same. I want to be an undefeated champion and retire undefeated. However, Gadelha was able to push Jedrzejczyk with her grinding wrestling game and strength.

"It was not a joke", she said with a laugh.

For her next match, the UFC reigning title holder is expected to face off against Rose Namajunas. People know a lot about my MMA, but I feel like I'm an worldwide champion. In fact, she countered the heck out of Andrade, who just ate shot-after-shot and kept moving forward.

Jedrzejczyk neither knows, nor does she mind. Adding, "We worked for 10 weeks for this fight and I'm happy with the way it ended".

Sensing that he got his opponent on the ropes, Mr. Miocic went to engage again, this time landing a solid right that sent Mr. Dos Santos to the mat wherein he continued to be clobbered by Mr. Miocic with punches until referee Herb Dean made a decision to call a halt to the match at the 2:22 mark of the opening round.
