Utah's Garett Bolles selected No. 20 overall to Denver Broncos

As the NFL Draft neared its completion, the Denver Broncos used selection 203 in the sixth round on running back De'Angelo Henderson of Coastal Carolina.

The NFL Draft continues Saturday at 11 a.m. with rounds 4-7.

"I'm a big teddy bear off the field, so I definitely love Mr. Elway", Bolles stated during the press conference on Friday at Denver Broncos Headquarters.

"I'm a very structured person", Bolles said. He started three games there before going on IR himself (shoulder). "But whatever he wants to do, I'm just going to be a proud father and lead him in the right direction".

"We're thrilled with where Adam is", Elway said.

"I get emotional when I talk about that family because they mean the world to me".

Walker said in a Friday-night conference call that he's eager to learn from Denver's veteran defenders, and that he's willing to play wherever the Broncos see fit.

In his first three drafts, Elway had a five second-round picks and the only one who reached a second contract in Denver was Wolfe, the 36th overall pick in 2012. And he's never been shy about stockpiling pass rushers.

He left Florida State with the third most sacks in program history and a legacy as one of the best Seminoles ever.

"DeMarcus Walker is huge value at 51 overall for the Broncos", SEC Network Cole Cubelic tweeted after the selection. The CB totaled 6 interceptions and 2 punt return touchdowns in 2016. "We just looked at DeMarcus's production, you know, 25 sacks in the last two years".

But with the beef in the trenches and the help in the pass rush, the Broncos also needed the "juice" - the playmaking and speed on offense that they sorely lacked the last two years.

Elway spent free agency injecting venom into his offensive and defensive lines and continued toughening up his team in the first two nights of the draft, especially on offence.

"I can play outside and I can play inside", Henderson said. He had a breakout year as a redshirt junior with 82 catches for 1,535 yards and 19 touchdowns. "He ran a 4.43 40 yard dash and stands tall at the cornerback position at 6'2".

And, in case there are any doubters still out there, he had something to say to them too.

Walker is the fifth Seminole drafted by the Broncos and first since All-America defensive tackle (and currenty quality control assistant) Jerry Johnson in 2000. "But I also like to be lucky".
