The live stream of the pregnancy and birth of a baby giraffe made headlines in recent weeks, but the upstate NY zoo where it all took place has seen a major boom in visitors and income since the video went viral.
April the giraffe's live stream ended on Friday after announcement from the park earlier in the week. Perhaps most intriguing to fans of the stream, the Harpursville, New York zoo also announced that the name of April's calf would tentatively be revealed May 1.
April the giraffe had significant kicks in her pregnant belly before giving birth. The park is also going to install a permanent camera for the giraffe's enclosure at some point during the season.
While the official top 10 names haven't been released, we do know that according to Animal Adventure Park's updates a few of the leaders include Patches, Unity, Peter, Apollo, Harpur, Geoffrey, Noah and Ollie.
"The Giraffe Cam is not gone forever!" the post read. They will announce the new streaming schedule on their Facebook page sometime during the week of April 24th.
April the giraffe's live stream broke YouTube records during its two months. The park will announce the name of her baby on May 1.

The zoo says Katie is expected to deliver her new calf in May. There is a five-vote minimum, and people can vote as many times as they want.
