This gives you a chance to experience the first few missions of the entire game.
If you haven't tried Dishonored 2 yet, you'll be able to play a small portion of it for free on April 6. It'll consist of the game's first three missions (although I suppose savvy samplers could play it as both Emily and Corvo, essentially turning it into a six mission demo).
Three missions might not sound like a whole lot of content, but Dishonored 2 only contains nine missions in its entirety.
Upon completing the trial, players will be able to purchase the game and continue from where they left off.
Those who choose to upgrade their trial to the full game will retain all of their save data.
Dishonored 2 is set 15 years after the Lord Regent has been vanquished and the dreaded Rat Plague has passed into history.
Dishonored 2 received a score of 7/10 on Steam, 8/10 from GameSpot, and 93/100 from PC Gamer.
Bethesda has revealed that Dishonored 2 will get a free trial later this week on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Depending on your choice of character, you can also try out new powers that you can couple with your movement to unleash a dazzling attack combo or use a rapid mode of travel as you sneak through buildings and past enemies.
