All of the ministries in the State of Qatar participated in the campaign and illuminated their buildings in blue. Many houses of worship will also be lit.

As a global foundation, Autism Speaks' interpretations, definitions and representations of autism hold the attention of national and worldwide audiences and the organization raises millions in funding through national walks, global events, concerts, galas and through government grants.

Mayor Clinic also said that while there was no cure for autism spectrum disorder, intensive and early treatment could make a big difference in the lives of many children. Whether it's your front porch or your local business, an office party or a banquet, the whole world is going blue to increase awareness about autism. That might mean lowering the volume of music, dimming the lights or opening an hour early before crowds arrive.

Designated by the United Nations on April 2 of every year, World Autism Awareness Day encourages efforts to raise awareness of children with autism and bring attention to this often-misunderstood neurological disorder. Many partnerships will raise funds through point-of-sale donations or special promotions.

Events like Light It Up Blue allow families to create support systems with one another.

Autism is a neuro-developmental disorder characterized by impaired social interaction, verbal and non-verbal communication, and restricted and repetitive behavior.

"I'm sure everyone knows about Autism Spectrum Disorder". An estimated 1 in 68 children is on the autism spectrum.

April 5: Guest speaker R.V. Kuser will visit campus and speak with HPU students about his journey through life as an individual with Autism.

NYUAD associate director of community outreach Suparna Mathur said: "It has been so powerful and rewarding to see a growing community join us at the NYUAD each year to show their collective support for families touched by autism".

The Conference will provide an excellent opportunity to obtain information about latest developments in education / skilling and inclusive living of persons with autism, apart from deliberations on latest research on medical aspects.
