The husband and wife duo will take on supernatural thriller A Quiet Place, which the Office alum will also write and direct, according to Variety.
A story so good they literally couldn't say no and Blunt and Krasinski sharing screen time? Krasinski, best known as Jim Halpert from The Office, has never dabbled in the horror genre before, while Blunt, who's now filming Mary Poppins Returns, has appeared in both horror (Wind Chill, The Wolfman) and sci-fi (Edge of Tomorrow). Dunes is also producing the Amazon series Jack Ryan, which will star Krasinski as the latest incarnation of the frequently adapted Central Intelligence Agency spy.
That's all about to change, however, as news has leaked that the awesome twosome will finally (finally!) be starring alongside one another in an upcoming movie called A Quite Place.
Michael Bay will produce with his Partners Andrew Form and Brad Fuller of Platinum Dunes, the studio behind The Purge and Ouija horror franchises.
As well as directing for Paramount Pictures and Platinum Dunes, John - who has steeped behind the camera for two previous projects, "The Hollars" and "Brief Interviews With Hideous Men" - will also star opposite Emily and has also completed a new draft of the script from Scott Beck and Bryan Woods' original.
Blunt most recently starred in Girl on the Train, and can next be seen in Disney's Mary Poppins Returns.
